The Lost Gentleman

Burns Night...
January 25th, 2015

It's Burns Night! Enjoy your haggis, neeps and champed tatties and a verse or two from Scotland's bard Rabbie Burns! I've posted a photograph below of a Rabbie Burns memorial statue in the town of Irvine in north Ayrshire. Burns was from Alloway in south Ayrshire but stayed in Irvine as a young man. The statue was erected by Irvine Burns Club, founded in 1826 and still active today!

The Lost Gentleman has received a lovely review and a four star rating from Romantic Times BOOKReviews, which makes me very happy! A great big thank you to RT BOOKReviews!

The Gentleman Rogue

Happy New Year!

This month sees the publication of
The Lost Gentleman, book seven in my GENTLEMEN OF DISREPUTE series. The Lost Gentleman tells the story of that missing gentleman of disrepute - Kit Northcote, and a heroine to be reckoned with - Kate Medhurst. Readers of the series will know that Kit fled London to escape a less than honourable past.

Robert Burns

Mistress to the Marquis

Now, Kit is a changed man, a man who can't forgive himself and one on a mission to capture a notorious pirate on the other side of the world. But when it comes to wicked pirates all is not as it seems, as Kit is to discover with the beautiful, more than capable, and wonderful American Mrs Kate Medhurst!

I had alot of fun writing about Kit and Kate's emotional and physical journey all the way from the colourful heat of the Caribbean to England's shores, crossing high seas and the haunting Devon moorland to reach the hubbub and dazzle of Regency London!

As ever, if you have any questions or comments please do email me. I always enjoy hearing from readers.

Warmest wishes
